Last week Adam and I joined our friends in Miami to spend 7 AMAZING days on Carnival Glory! We had so much fun and can’t wait for our next trip with them!
We started our trip in Miami and spent 2 days in South Beach! We LOVED the Miami beaches and the FOOD! AMAZING. If you can’t tell the general theme for this trip is AMAZING!
We then decided to have our own happy hour on the roof top deck! As expected, we only finished half of the two drinks combined! HA!
On Saturday, we were so excited to go on the cruise that we showed up a few hours early and got to board the ship early. We wandered around and enjoyed our first blended cocktail just in time to have the safety drill and find our muster stations. Bye Bye Miami!
Our first stop was at Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas. It was AMAZING, the water was so calm and crystal clear! Adam and I watched fish swim around our feet!
Oh and legs or hotdogs?
Hello tiny boat!
Carnival GLORY! Oh and Adam and I need to work on taking selfies!
Here is some lovely art that was in our room. Adam is CONVINCED that its Kansas City. Wheat in the top left, shuttlecocks on the right, plaza building on the bottom left and something on the right. Thoughts? I can see it.
Selfie before dinner!
Sunset on the boat. I’m a sucker for a good sunset.
The next day was a day at sea while we cruised to St. Thomas and I HAD to catch the sunrise. It was so serene and peaceful… and a little windy! Here are a few of my favorites. One of these need to end up on a canvas in my home!
Our next stop was St. Thomas. I LOVE this island! It has mountains and ocean, what more could you ask for? Oh and about a million Diamonds International stores, for those of you who have been to the Caribbean know what I’m talking about.
Hello charming doorways!
We then traveled to Magen’s Bay. It was beautiful and I could have spent all day there! Sadly if I did that, the boat would have left without me.
Hello Carnival Glory and Carnival Sunshine!
Sadly on our cruise there wasn’t a ping pong tournament for Adam to defend his title at so the free throw competition had to suffice. Here he is with his medal!
Our next stop was San Juan, Puerto Rico. Adam and I were so excited to explore this city because Adam’s Dad lived here for about 6 months while he was in his 20’s working for the government and he had nothing but great things to say. The buildings are such vibrant colors! I want to do an engagement session here so bad!
That night our cabin attendee left us with this towel animal! I’ve never seen a money before so I had to catch a photo of him. Hes even wearing our bamboo necklace!
Our final stop was Grand Turk. Beautiful sand beaches that are just seconds away from the boat. So nice!
On our way into Miami on the final night we started to sail into some weather, here’s one of the clouds. I love the shade of grey they are. So ominous yet graceful.
Here are our travel companions! Can’t till next year guys!
Before dinner on the final night!
I’m not the best food photographer but how amazing does this look. Trust me, it was amazing. Worth every calorie.
Good morning Miami! I don’t want the vacation to end but I miss our fur babies and I couldn’t wait to get home!
Did you guys know that Southwest offers free Dish Network on their flights?! I enjoyed House Hunters and Chopped on my way home. Made the flight go by so much faster!
We LOVED our cruise and can’t wait to plan the next one! Carnival, thanks for being AMAZING.
