These high school sweethearts got married on a beautiful Friday evening. David and Rebecca started dating in high school both went to Kansas State University where Rebecca joined the KKG sorority. They both graduated this spring and began to prepare for their wedding. Rebecca got ready at her family’s home, surrounded by her bridesmaids and friends. Her aunt did her hair and her sister did her makeup. It was such a special time for their family, the morning being filled with singing and laughter. She wore an absolutely stunning dress from BHLDN, the bottom was tulle and the top was lace. Simply put, Rebecca looked beautiful. David got ready at his parents’ home. All of the fellas had a great time. They were all wearing matching socks and we got some incredibly cool pictures of them. I got a really special pictured of David’s parents praying over him before he left the house. They did their first look at Liberty Memorial and it was so, so sweet. You could see the excitement in David’s eyes. He finally got to marry his high school sweetheart. These two were an ease to photograph because they were so in love and so excited. Their bridal party was so great and really supportive. Their ceremony was at VOX Theater. It was gorgeous. Rebecca’s grandmother said the service and that was an incredible moment. Rebecca was walked down the aisle by her mother and we got some wonderful pictures from that moment. Shortly thereafter, their reception started. They had Minsky’s Pizza cater and everyone loved it. I loved that they picked a food that was so special to them. The dance floor was filled for almost the whole evening, peaking when everyone was dancing to “Love Shack.” It was quite the party! At one point, Rebecca and David were surrounded by Rebecca’s Kappa sisters and they sung them their tradition song. It brought me to tears, seeing all of the love that was in that room.
Rebecca and David, thank you so much for letting me a part of your day. I loved every minute of it and I hope you love these pictures. Congratulations!
