Blue & Gray Winter Wonderland Town Square Paola Kansas City Wedding : Kraig & Chelsie

My last wedding of 2016 was just lovely. Chelsie and Kraig got married on a beautiful December day. These two chose a theme of Winter Wonderland for their wedding and they absolutely nailed it. The entire day was perfectly beautiful. The ladies got ready at Town Square Pavilion. They had so much fun hanging out, drinking champagne and making memories that would last a lifetime. Chelsie’s mom helped her get into the dress. These moments are always so precious and always make for the BEST pictures. After she got into her dress, she had a first look with her father. After he was taken aback by her beauty there wasn’t a dry eye in the dressing room. The gentlemen also got ready at Town Square Pavilion. They were having a blast. I love the pictures that come from the getting ready pictures. It provides such an intimate, behind-the-scenes view of the day. Kraig and Chelsie shared their first look at the spot where they would be saying “I do” just a few hours later. Kraig was amazed by how beautiful Chelsie looked in her dress. Their big day was finally here! After their first look we went across the street into the Time Square for some photos. The wedding party was so much fun. Enthusiasm always shows in pictures and this group had it in spades. I loved the pictures that came from this! The girls brought gloves and blankets to wear on that chilly day! After this, we went inside for a few pictures in their ceremony space. They did an incredible job decorating so we absolutely had to get some pictures. Their ceremony was so sweet. Chelsie’s father walked her down the aisle and then her stepfather met them halfway down the aisle and walked the rest of the way. It was such a cool moment. Chelsie and Kraig were both so excited to get married, you could tell by the body language throughout the day. During their ceremony they did a wine box where they collected letters from their parents, grandparents and each other so that they could read them on their one year anniversary. After they shared their first kiss they walked down the aisle they we showered in snow by their family and friends. The shots that came from this were absolutely perfect. Their reception was so great. It was beautifully decorated and everyone was having an absolute blast. I loved the tulip centerpieces that they made themselves. The groom’s cake was a truck kicking up mud on the cupcakes. It was amazing and Kraig loved it. After the reception we snuck out to the Town Square for some night shots in front of a beautiful tree. I loved these images! Chelsie and Kraig, the night was so great. Thank you for being such an amazing end to my 2016 year!
