Intimate Dusty Blue Town Square Paola Kansas City Wedding : Jacob & Brittany

Jacob and Brittany had their big day at Town Square Paola and I can’t think of a better place for them to host their best day ever. I loved capturing their details, especially their ring box!! How beautiful is that? Brittany’s dress fit and complemented her perfectly! When it was time for her to get dressed, her mom helped her slip into this beautiful dress. What a sweet moment! Jacob was right on the other side of the wall where he hung out with his groomsmen before putting the final touches on his suit.  These two shared their first look in the town square.  This space is so cute! The gazebo and fountain have to be my favorite! These two were so excited to see each other! Their wedding day was finally here!! After their first look we snagged a few portraits of just them before their wedding party joined us! Their bridal party was so much fun! They were so supportive of the couple and kept helping them move around for photos! Before sneaking inside to find relief from the hot July day I had them sit on the blue bench in front of the venue. I LOVE these shots! When you have a bride and groom with a little bit of a height difference it’s nice to get a few of them sitting! Their ceremony was on the second floor of town square. I love this space!! I shot here a few times and I feel like each time its special and unique to the couple! Their ceremony was filled with laughter, tears and joy! It might have been a quick one, but it left an impression on everyone’s hearts.  After the ceremony while their guests were enjoying light snacks we went to the court house! What a beautiful backdrop for these two!! Their reception was a sweet, intimate dinner with their closest friends and family. Their decor highlighted not only the room but also the two of them. Brittany & Jacob are both teachers and have a passion for reading so their guest book was a pair of book ends that they had their guests sign. How cute is that!? The newlyweds entered the reception and the party had officially begun!  We went straight into speeches and then first dances. The sunset light around Paola is beautiful so I knew we had to sneak outside for just a few minutes. I found a fantastic ivy wall and with the help of my second shooter (mike!) we moved a few trash cans and it was the perfect back drop for these two!
