Nick was one of the first people I met at KSU and he was not only Adam’s roomie, they have been best friends since middle school & he was the first to know when we got engaged! So you can say Nick has been part of some pretty big moments in our lives! So when he asked me to capture him asking Megan the big question I was SO excited!!! After some careful planning we decided I would sneak Megan & Baxter (their fur baby) away for two hours before he got down on one knee. So what could I do with Megan & Baxter that involved my camera that she wouldn’t be suspicious of!? How about a Mommy & Me puppy shoot! I asked Megan if she & Baxter would be my models for a new mini session I was going to market and she said yes (thank goodness!)! So at first we killed some time at Starbucks with puppy whips & good conversation then we hurried to Nelson to beat her family there. We shot across the street with her back to the museum and after so many family members said that they saw us there! Finally we made our way up to the north side of the museum where I had Megan turn the corner to see Nick waiting for her! Of course she knew right away what was going on & was so excited! After she said “yes”, the ring was on, Nick directed her attention to the balcony where all their friends & family were watching!! Champagne was popped, hugs were given & there was so much joy for these two! Nick, thank you so much for asking me to capture this special moment for you two! And I cannot wait to be a GUEST at your wedding this winter!!!
